Ben Carty - Director
Having been in and around building sites his entire life, Ben holds qualifications in both Certificate III Carpentry and Joinery, and Certificate IV in Residential Building Studies.
His knowledge and experience allows him to deliver the highest attention to detail of which clients can expect time and time again.
He is extremely proud of the business that has been built over the years and looks forward to Boom Build remaining to be a leading home builder across Sydney for many years to come.
When he’s taking a break, Ben enjoys spending time with his young family, surfing and having a laugh amongst friends over a BBQ. His desire to help others has led him to work alongside a team of other like minded volunteers in several organised charity renovations for Channel 9’s television program “A Current Affair”.
Oliver Gardiner - Project Manager

Oliver has been in the building industry for over 15 years, having worked on high end builds across Sydney - from Palm Beach to Vaucluse. He has been with Boom Build for over four years and has overseen some of our most beautiful and complex builds with professionalism and care. He prides himself on nurturing client relationships, ensuring a safe work site, and leaving no stone unturned on his projects.
You’ll find him surfing, golfing or spending time with his young family when the work boots are off!
Andy Armstrong - Project Manager

Andy heads up our Boom Projects division. Starting his career in law, Andy soon discovered his passion for carpentry, construction, and residential builds - and we're all benefiting from that redirection! Having started his career in Melbourne, Andy relocated to Sydney a few years back. He brings calm, confidence, and a fine eye for detail to all our projects.
When he's not on-site, you'll find him tackling the Manly ocean swim or discovering a new coffee shop along the Beaches.
Stef Rose - Operations & Marketing

Stef holds a Masters in Business Administration and has a wealth of knowledge in business strategy, operations, and marketing. Prior to joining Boom Build, she spent her career working in international and Australian start-ups. Stef has a strong construction background, having worked as a Project Manager for four years, overseeing the design and build of co-working spaces across the world.
Outside of work you can find Stef wrangling her (mostly delightful) dog and daughters or sipping coffee or a craft beer at her favourite Northern Beaches spots.
Emma Oakley - Contracts Administrator

Emma has a background in marketing and project management, and a love of all things building and renovating.
Emma is a key player in the running of all the behind the scenes tasks that are required to assist
each job run on time and to budget.
Emma enjoys spending time with her family, walking their puppy, catching up with friends for coffee, and pilates.
Clare Wood - Accounts
​
Clare has a BA (Hons) in geography and environment studies, but is better known for her attention to detail in ensuring the business administration is kept in tip top shape. Clare works tirelessly to ensure all employees are well looked after and the business goals are reached every month.
Clare’s interests are spending time with her family, usually at the beach or on their boat and travelling abroad.
Chris Moszczynski - Senior Site Manager​
With over two decades in the construction industry, Chris brings with him incredible experience in residential building. Chris' passion for craftsmanship and attention to detail has resulted in dozens on stunning homes. A steady, calm presence on site, Chris is nothing but a pleasure to work alongside.

When he's not overseeing construction or liaising with clients, Chris enjoys spending time with his young family - exploring the beaches and bushland that make the Northern Beaches such a special place to live and work.
Matt Go - Site Manager

Matt is a qualified carpenter and is strongly passionate about the building trade.
He loves seeing our clients' dream homes and renovations come to life.
Matt’s aim is to always bring the highest quality craftsmanship in every aspect of building and working towards always meeting both our team, and the clients, expectations.
Matt love’s surfing, fishing, and having a good time with friends and family.
Kieran Carruthers​
Kieran joined the Boom Build crew in 2025 and has been a beacon of positivity across all our sites and projects. A qualified carpenter, Kieran loves working with all trades and is constantly increasing his knowledge or skillset.

After hours, you'll find Kieran planning his next holiday or drinking his favourite tipple - a Guinness.
Baxter Bult - Apprentice

Baxter is fulfilling his lifelong dream of being a carpenter and has been a critical part of the Boom Build team for years. Baxter is a hard worker, forward thinker and is loving his time with the Boom Build team & is excited for the what’s to come.

In his spare time, he enjoys playing Basketball and Oz Tag.
Patrick Tibbertsma - Apprentice
​
After years working in corporate, Pat switched things up to pursue a carpentry career. He is a 4th year apprentice, with a particular passion for breathing new life into reclaimed furniture.
Based on the Central Coast, if you don't catch him on the highway, you'll find Pat exploring the beaches of his local Copacabana with his partner and their two delightfully rambunctious boys.
